Monica hails from Falls Church, Virginia, and is a former Level 10 gymnast who honed her athletic abilities at Capital Gymnastics National Training Center under National Team Coach and International Brevet Judge, Tatiana Perskaia. As a level 9/10 athlete, she and her team won multiple state and regional titles; individually, she has won several state and regional beam and bar titles, and has qualified to both Easterns and Nationals.

Having dedicated over two decades of her life to the sport, she currently shares her expertise as both a coach (7 years) and a judge (6 years), helping athletes of all levels reach their full potential through emotional encouragement and the development of strong physical technique. Monica firmly believes in the power of determination and perseverance and strives to instill this mindset in all her athletes. As a dedicated wife and mother of three boys, she values spending quality time with her family, exercising, and doing arts and crafts.
